Commissions:

In addition to prints, I sometimes take on custom commission projects. This can include paintings, drawings, or photography sessions. Availability depends on my teaching schedule, so the best way to know if I can take your project is to email me directly.

A few important notes about commissions:

  • I may decline a project if I don’t feel the subject will translate well into a painting or drawing.

  • It’s always best if your request has a strong personal reason behind it. That helps me connect with the piece and bring it to life in the best possible way.

  • To start, you’ll need to send me a photo or reference image. I’ll review it and let you know if I can take the commission.

Commission Pricing Examples:

Here are some typical examples to give you a sense of cost:

  • Paintings: An 18 x 24" painting (like the soldier painting shown on this page) would typically be around $600, depending on complexity.

  • Drawings: A portrait drawing on 12 x 16" paper is usually $200–$300, depending on detail.

  • Photography Sessions: Engagement or portrait photo shoots are usually $250, and include 6 professionally edited images.

Paintings and drawings can also be professionally framed for an additional cost. Shipping is available anywhere in the United States.
