Every year I take ten of my students to paint the blades of the Commerce City Snow plows. The students were asked to paint a design incorporating school pride (go eagles) and our homecoming dance theme of cherry blossom trees. They did awesome and I can’t wait to see these on the snow plows this Saturday when the plows our driven down the homecoming parade.

The parade was awesome! If you didn’t see my post earlier this week, I take my students on a field trip where we paint the blades of snow plows and then the plows are driven down he homecoming parade. The students only had about six hours to paint everything!
Litzi, Melody , Nelmarie, Daisy, Justina, Jose, Shalayah, Ashley, Bryan, Damien, and Noelani, you did great and you really showed your talent!
Huge thanks to everyone involved including the student council teachers and students, the police department for transporting the students on the field trip, fleet maintenance, the snow plow drivers and the city. Thank you!
