Here are some photos I shot over the summer in my dad’s garden. One of the things I was experimenting with was shooting into the sun in order to give the photos a golden glow and sun flares. I did these shots using my Nikon D7100 with a 50mm lens 1.4 and a UV filter. I used an F1.4 because I wanted the photos to have strong bokeh giving the illusion that these photos were taken out in the wild. The F1.4 stop also created round sun flares that I find to be astatically pleasing.
